KAMAGAYA, Chiba -- Nine former members of a biker gang took part in a futsal match against members of Kamagaya Police Station as they marked the disbandment of the gang.
The gang, Kamagaya No. 1, had been active in Kamagaya for about 30 years. At its peak, the gang had about 50 members, but most of them were apprehended and the gang was recently persuaded by police to disband.
Ten police officers participated in the match on Sunday, which was carried out in a friendly atmosphere and ended in a draw.

◇１４日の成人式を前に、今年成人になるメンバーを含む元暴走族９人が１３日、千葉県鎌ケ谷市内で、県警鎌ケ谷署員との「親善フットサル大会」に臨んだ。暴走族がこの日、解散した記念に行った。
◇暴走族は、市内を中心に３０年以上活動してきた「鎌ケ谷ナンバーワン」。ピーク時は５０人がいたが、大半が検挙され、昨年１１月ごろから約１カ月半にわたる署員の説得に応じて解散することにした。
◇署側からも１０人が参加。試合は終始、和やかなムードで進み、結果は引き分けに。全国で荒れる成人式が話題になって久しいが、スポーツマンシップにのっとり、門出を祝った
